    Default Crescent Lake December 2014

Had a great time at Crescent over the past few weeks. Thanks to Melville,Countrytime and thespiderman for coming down and joining me in the hunt for slabs.Spider Rolling with thespiderman was super. Spider wore them plum out .I caught lots of 2lb plus fish during the time there and released many many fish back into the lake.Got a chance to meet Anchorman and Easyryder. That Vick is a really good fisherman. The bite is getting better and I am looking forward to doing it again soon.Check out thespiderman on YouTube Spider Rolling Crescent Lake with thespiderman - YouTube

Thanks quick for the kind words. Had a GREAT GREAT time with you and countrytime. Hope to get down next month for a couple of days to help you slay some more slabs. It's been a long time since I went fishing and caught 2lbers each time I went out. Keep me posted and maybe I can work something out.

I agree with you quick. Your not going to keep countrytime down long. I hope I'm there when he shows up next time.

Had a great time those (3) days fellas, the G&G shack has crunched the numbers and decided the one mistake not make again is leave the spider rigging rods at the house. The Spider Rollin was the ticket, they wanted that minnow and Spiderman's jigs were dynamite, they ate them like candy. Quick was doing both and the spider rigs blew away the long lines. The long lining bite comes and goes, especially on those 37 degree mornings. Sometimes it is out of sight and other times not so hot. Caught good fish and a few over 2 lbs, but would have been better if I had what I cut my teeth on with me, it really pays to be versatile. Quick and Spidey that pizza at that River Pub was unreal, best pizza I have ever had period hands down. We will have to do it again soon. Quick I appreciate your hospitality. Tightlines
