IM PLANNING TO BE THERE ALSO
I'll be on the docks, either in my slip or B dock. A docks are off limits during the construction, but if the wind is light and my battery charges up in time I might venture over there.
Good luck.
Here fishy, fishy, fishy...
2:00 tip off??
I was out there today and so was about 32 other boats I counted at the marina boat ramp so there should be lots of reports. First time I ever fished this late in the season so I was happy catching 20 white bass and 20 crappie for about 3 hours of fishing. Color did not seem to matter and I was using only one jig on the line and a 1/8 chartreuse head. I was surprised how hard they hit a real good thump! All released. My question is the first crappie I caught had trouble swimming back down so all others I caught I made sure I brought them up real slow and then they had no problems. They were caught 20-25 ft down so do they get the bends? The white bass I had no problem.

For sure I was 'following'the wrong boat! Wish I would of seen ya. I would of crowded ya
out of your spot! Fishing with Ron & Purple Crappie didn't quite match
your catch. Only 9 keepers. Great time with buddies
though! Haven't been out for sometime but the thump gets my heart a pumping. Fished the same depths. Marked some schools in the channels about 10ft down but didn't give them much of a chance to be caught. The best way that I have found to get those crappie back down
is to close the mouth(fishes)
, hold by tail and drop them. Ifin dat wont do it,,, take pole and with tip, head them down a ft or two. If that fails, use net and push and hold them down. Takes a little effort but sure looks better than having a lot of 'floaters' around. This happens a lot when catching them in 25ft and more. Don't know when I'll be getting out again but would just love to use my 'Okie' license
one more time this year. <*)}}}><
