I discovered today that our refrigerator in the garage bit the dust sometime in the last few days. Everything in it and in the freezing compartment was lost. Among other things there were about 40 pounds of frozen crappie, 18 pounds of smoked deer sausage, a gallon of smoked turkey and sausage gumbo, and the Thanksgiving turkey slow thawing in the refrigerator.
I unwrapped all the food and took it to the woods for the coyotes, then went to Lowe's and bough a new refrigerator. Tomorrow I start replacing the fish.

Wow, George, sounds almost like my story. Today I bought 100 pounds of shrimp and my freezer gave up it's ghost. So halfway through peeling the shrimp I had to take a break and go pick up a new freezer. Good luck with filling yours.

On the bright side, the smoked deer sausage I lost was some of the worst I ever tasted. It was made by a commercial deer processor that I gave a try. Can't explain why it was so bad because their sausage has a very good reputation.
