Depends on when & where I'm fishing, but Bass, Catfish, Freshwater Drum, Bluegill & Warmouth, White Bass & Hybrid Striped Bass make up the majority of "other" species caught when Crappie fishing. And it doesn't seem to matter much whether I'm fishing a jig or a minnow, as to how often one of these "other" fish will be caught.

Depends on which pond I'm fishing - could be pumpkinseed, bass, bullhead, perch or trout and once a really big snapping turtle which was really fun.

Catfish and once in a while a Bass. But the funny thing is, when fishing for Walleye catch almost as many crappie as catfish.

Bass would be the #1 other fish when crappie fishing for me but white perch are a tight second.

Freshwater Drum is commonly referred to as a "gaspergou" (or gaspergoo), along with several other "nicknames".

As a youngster, and up until I was in my late 20's, I heard the Freshwater Drum called a "white perch"
