also kinda depends on the boat you fish from. Big boat sitting up high you can handle the bigger rods. Jon boat front seat where you are closer to the water and brush the 10 footer works fine for me.

if i could only choose one id have to go with the 10 ft very light weight and extremely sensitive , ive lifted in many 2lb + crappie and 3-6 lb drum by the hundreds with no problem, the 11 footer is stiffer and heavier but they do have a place in my vertical jig arsenal
