Everyone sept me and one other person got door prizes this time I spect a different result not complaining though, that was an awfull lot of donations from a lot of good people. I think we should all take the time to acknowledge these folks with a PM, Email or a Phone call thanking them for their contribution. I have seen cases in other states where vendors felt slighted for acknowledgement of what they had done and refused to donate any more.

The problem I've had with previous raffles is where a vendor / crappie.com member held a raffle for an item. But only donated the proceeds in EXCESS of his cost. That isn't raffling, that's merchandising/selling. If this is how it's going to be run put me down for all the $400 guide trips you can book.
A raffle is when a vendor donates an item and all the proceeds, above or below the items value, is donated to a cause.

I agree.....All the raffled items at Spring camp were donated......all proceeds went to the fruit jar fund. Cray is right only two people did not get a door prize. I did not even get a ticket for myself because I wanted someone else to have a chance to get one. Its all good now.....if its not perfect.......its pretty dadgummed close.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
