i had to search and search but i finally found out where to get the original. here is the site. Jim Porter's Guide to Bass Fishing. they only have the 1/16 but that is the one that we smoked them on last year. very pretty jig, but the hook is tiny. but we didn't have any trouble getting them in the boat. i will post a pic tonight of what one looks like.

Thanks. I went to their site. Those are great looking jigs! Think I'll try some.

We did well on dbone this spring with that color. I don't have any of the porter jigs but I have some round head jigs with a sickle hook in the same color.

I ordered some with the cinnamon body and blue tail, too. Jim Porter said he caught as many, or more, on that combination as he did with the original Gray Ghost.

Well...I don't usually stick with jigs, but I've seen enough posts on here about those ghosties that I thought I'd try some. Just ordered a dozen so I hope they work. May be testing 'em at the Bone in October, if not before. Thanks for the link Mark. Spoke to Jim for a bit. Seems like a real nice guy.

I have a few gray ghost jigs left over from last year. I also bought some knock offs that were not near as good as the original. I will attach pics of both. the original has a wedge head and has black/gray hair (not sure what kind) for the tail. the knock off has a round head and black feathers for a tail. what do yall think??
