Guess I missed it. Did see the duck hunting season. Sure am ready for it.

Saw this in last Friday's Demozette. Figured there would have been some comments and discussion posted by now. What do y'all think about the AG&F decision?

How about 20 fish statewide. If a guy can catch 20, he's had a pretty good day. Limit on ducks should be 30 per day though.

10 Inch on Conway is good...but I liked 25 as a state wide limit better. When will this go into effect? Anybody?

Goes into effect 1-1-15. It was in Friday paper at the end of the article about duck season.
Some lake will still have lower limits. Ie. beaver lake is still 15/day. Have to look at the lake specific regs
Some of you guys are going to have to borrow my 3/4 ton truck's tailgate............

These regulations were proposed this past year. I put a link in here for a state wide online survey, for everyone to voice there opinion and vote yes or no on the proposed regulations. The state wide 30 fish per day creel and the 10" minimum length limit had overwhelming public support (according to the online survey). I can look for the actual stats on the survey tomorrow if someone wants that info. The Commissioners voted them in a few weeks ago. Rmack is correct. The regs go into effect 1-1-15. I am in the processes of putting together information signs for all of the accesses around the lake. I won't bore y'all with my speel on the MLL again. I have explained it several times on here. The bottom line is that it should make a very good crappie fishery into an even better one. We shall see. Rest assured that I will be keeping a close eye on Lake Conway.

I'm for the 30- but the 10 inch deal will turn dink holes into dink ocean s. Biggest problem with crappie is overpopulation! My 2 cents.
