It all started a good many years ago now and it took a lot of time on the phones talking to different Mfg's about their product and what I could do with it. I spent a lot of time working on these and so many have ask and some even got mad, but I just figure it's something I should keep as mine. I share info on most everything else and Old Ship worked so hard trying to make these I did tell him after he promised not to tell and he has always held up to his word, but I just knew he would. I think he was still quite surprised at the entire thing. I have often thought about telling all, but so far I just have not got to that point yet. I have thought about getting with a company like Blakemore to make a deal with them to make and sell them, but I have not done more than talk to them a little and have not really gone after that thought.

not going to pester you over it i am glad your devoted and smart none the less. seen secret spots turn bad from a whim from others...the worst part is the internet will kill you on keeping it a secret. that why i suggest keeping it a secret! any how keep it a secret keep it safe best of luck to you....

Have thought about posting about it several times and probably will at some point. Just find it hard to give away something I put a lot of work into and is about the only thing I have held back. I have given away lots of time teaching others about tying and helping any time I have been ask. Just happens this one I keep to my self and still it's not like I make more of these than other jigs and actually is a very small part of what I tie for others.

the entire tying thing was just started so I would have something to do after I quit trading the stock market. Just kind of got burned out after 15 years or so of that. Since I had been spending so much time on the computer doing research and making trades for years, when I quit it was like what the heck am I going to do now. Not going to watch TV all day and can't see fishing every day so was looking for something when I decided to try tying.

skip you should keep this a secret forever I don't know how many times that I have made jigs in the past that my ideals were stolen and wound up on the big boys list if they were used for commercial use but I blame myself for that so hopefully that you will keep this one little secret of yours forever I know at one point that you were willing to share in I told you no because I wanted this to be years and not mine I've only when he used it in the future for sales I honor you for keeping this for so long and I hope that you do so for now on we all have our little secrets that we do not release I do have many that I have not shared yet but like you I have shared many of my techniques to others in part of me will always share some of my stuff with others like I told you in a previous post I have used your glow-in-the-dark jigs with great success we are still using them when I have a good place to use them without losing them you have taught me quite a bit summer your techniques I have used and thank you for sharing in the past.

skip some things you should take to your death bed with you or make a will to your grand kids and in that will not let them give it away. this is one of those...then they can pass it along for a long time in the family... any ways best of luck time to take the kids fishing too and pass it along that way not threw the internet..lol's.

Got to be cat urine guys,gonna see if Craigslist has any free cats this weekend and put them in a coon trap with a pan under it and collect the urine. Anyone want me to send them a bottle,let me know! LOL!
