    CF, Too Wet??? you shoulda planted rice an you'd be harvestin a bumper crop now! ya have to take what Mother Nature gives ya!

    I have never seen it dry out so fast! We could hardly pull field cultivators a couple days ago because the ground was so saturated. Now we are planting beans as hard as we can before moisture runs out!!! This heat and SW wind is sapping the water out of the ground. If you stir the ground just a little, the moisture will be gone in a couple hours. Crazy stuff.CF

    Farmer I went down to edenton Friday, 97degrees and dry as a bone... Mrs Perry had a tree die, i figured id go replace it before those gnats got bad...Those dang burgers are worth the ride.
