I have a few of the round styrofoam liners that will fit in a round 5 gallon bucket. You're talking about lifting the liner out, put your catch in the bucket and sitting the liner back in. Saving the minnows. These liners won't slide out. I have to dump the water, turn them upside down and grip the liner someway to pull it out.
If the one Handi has doesn't work. Petco in Southaven gets their fish in styrofoam shipping boxes. Cut 2 corners off and seal them together with Aquarium approved Silicone. Keep me posted so I can collect what you'll need.
Dang I knew I shouldn't have went to sleep so early. I missed out it looks like!

If the one Handi has won't work, go to Lowes or home depot. Get some of that blue foam sheeting, comes in small pieces. Cut sections to fit your bucket. Go to pet store and get tube of aquarium sealer. Make your foam pieces fit snug then seal seams with sealer. Got you a insulated bucket that fits your needs. A small air pump will help. I have found that freezing a couple of the small water bottles placed in a insulated bucket goes a long way in keeping your minnows.
Regular silicone sealer will kill your minnows.

Quick question- are you wading or adjacent to shore? If so, the flow-through bait buckets like these work great. We used them in saltwater and they kept lots of stuff alive. Obviously, the trick is to keep the bucket in the lake while you're fishing, providing bait with fresh water.
I'm not 100% sure that all of them will fit inside of a five gallon bucket but I'm sure there is one that will. I'm thinking about getting one for the boat. Cramming my smaller bait bucket with large minnows isn't working out all of the time.
