Default With all the crappie fishing I have been doing I thought I forgot how to Bass fish

I went Bass fishing with my nephew a few weeks back at Pickwick and I missed every fish I swung on. He caught 15+ including a 6 lb Largemouth. He was feeling bad for me by the end of the day and almost handed me a rod after he hooked a fish. I figured I was now the worst Bass fisherman of all time. So due to the wind these past few weekends I went to Pickwick to see if I could remember how to set a freakin hook. So it turns out I didn't forget and I managed to catch 29 bass with 11 over 15" (Keepable bass at Pickwick.)

Hopefully the weather starts cooperating this weekend so I don't have to make that long drive again and can get back to the Crappie.

If I had to start back bass fishing, I'd quit the game. Nice fish you've got there Bulldog, but for you're sake I hope you get back on the crappie soon. Catching too many bass will eventually make you go mad.

The worst thing about catching a bass is that after it's over all you have is a bass.

    Good job though!

    I have the memories!

But all kidding aside I like to fish for all types of fish. I am closest to the big 4 so I do mostly the Crappie thing.

I'm spoiled I guess living right next to Enid. I rarely ever fish any other lake, but I take a few trips in the summer to fish a few smaller lakes for bream. Crappie and bream are the only two fish I actually enjoy eating, so I naturally enjoy catching them best. My dad likes to catfish, so he and I spend most of the summer and fall on the rivers fishing for monsters. I enjoy reeling them in, but I don't care much for eating them. I catch bass every year while crappie fishing, and if I'm feeling generous and not too fish-snobby I'll put it in with my crappie. My wife's dad likes them, so I send them to him. The point of this long story is that I also enjoy fishing, and the memories are almost as good as the eating providing we are talking about crappie or bream. If I am fishing for catfish and/or bass, I'd prefer the memories!

You have a lot of words to not say anything.
