Wow congrats! We were fishing Sugar Creek Friday and Saturday and had good days. This was my first trip to Oconee and it appeared that everyone was catching fish. I was amazed that after two days of fishing we only caught one fish less than 10 inches. Most of the fish were between 11-14 inches. We were pushing jigs and it appeared most boats were long lining. I would like to know what type of jigs you were using? We were catching most on acid rain curly tails and popsicle curly tails. The fish in the picture was 14 inches. Any local knowledge appreciated. Thanks.

Hotwater I was long lining using 2 inch Kalin Grubs or Southern Pro Hot Grubs, darker colors seemed to get the bites. Water temp was 58.5F at sunrise.

PS That's a nice slab your holding!

Thanks for the comments everyone, here is another picture of mine as I went to clean them on Monday with the fish at a sideways view. Folks these things are busting with eggs. The one I was waiting on as my Dad would say, was the last one, now awaiting their baptismal service in Lake Crisco!
PS Get your fishing poles ready with mid 70's next week it's going to get ugly!
