    The one in my left hand was right at 15 inches I believe and weight 3lbs right on the nose.
    It's stomach had a wad of shad as hard as a rock and about the size of a golf ball in it.

    I wish that I had checked that more because some are a lot heavier than others. Last Spring I kept 25 the first day we got into them and most just big males with a good many over 14" and I was kind of shocked once filleted and ribs removed I have 18 pounds of meat. Guess I should check more of the one under 16" as I use to have the same idea that I checked weight on 16" fish and bigger.

    personal best...caught TWO like this, same trip, both were exactly 2.14oz

    believe me, I tried to make them be 3lbs!

    16" fish, Grenada...spawn...FAT and FULL!
