Definitely several great ideas here! Question: Am I the only one that puts the drain plug in from INSIDE the boat? I've only had 16' aluminum boats, so I'm not sure what the problem you guys are having with doing that? The suggested tools would be great on the inside as well though.

To access the drain hole on my boat, I have to remove an approx. 8 inch cover to the bilge, then work my way down thru several livewell pump wires which are more than an arms length down.
