I Faced Conditions like that once in Jacksonville Florida. There was A winter storm that blew in, an Ice and snow storm. The Comp. I worked for was A 365 day opperation. Our shift started at 7 pm to 7 am. At midnight 3 of the 4 Bridges across the River had been closed. Leaving only one open. ---- The supervisors Refused to call upper Managment -- At 3:30 Water Pipes in the Sprinkler system frozen For hours started falling everywhere in the plant and Wearhouses. When the boilers ran out of water and the plant shut down an hour before we were to go home Someone finally decided to call the plant manager !!!! The last Brigge was closed also by then. I had to walk the 6 miles home across one of the frozen Bridges in the snow storm.... I put on all 7 long sleeve uniforms, Thermals,, Boots, and a winter jacket with a hood. I put on safety Glasses and a clear Face shield that covered my whole face... The only cars moving were front wheel drive or 4 wheel drive. Half way home I stoped and got a cup of coffee. Thats where I messed up. My snow melted then Refroze so stiff I couldnt hardly move. My Face shield Fogged over then froze making vision limited. I had been warm untill I got the coffee... Yall be safe

I'll be there and I'll be fishing as long as it isn't pouring down raining and the wind blowing me off the lake.

I am still planning on being at the ramp around 8am. If by some crazy chance the weatherman actually got it right and there is an inch of snow on the ground tommorrow, I may delay and come in around noon.

It's 1:30AM in Broaddus TX and whiter than white all over the place and coming down. I think I'll drag my feet a little in the morning before heading over to visit the Toledo Bend Bunch. Those of you that are set to fish, good luck and be safe. Ferdi
