Speaking of reject hats, I think you sold me one, it fits the 6 year old kid next door very well.

Never been but heard GREAT tales about the fishing there. Planning a trip sometime in Jan. after the CrappieUSA tourn. Probably the holiday weekend. Definitely could use some pointers for a new goober there.

Even if a sad shiner, it beats scraping ice any day, if I may say Slab, you look thawed & you can move your extremities, just look at that smile! Who needs snow for Christmas anyways...

That poor fish looks like a catfish ate it and spit it out. When you get to Toledo Bend, you and fishervet can have a 1 fish contest. ( just kidding vet, don't forget the beer)
Need to visit Crescent at once in near future while its in the hot stage...............
Its a trip you won't forget...............It is a pulling (long-lining) trolling style lake.
Spider riggers can do ok but long-lining is way to go. Spend a couple days there
to honestly get the feel of something beautiful besides the fishing it produces.
You may also catch Flounder - Snook - Lady Fish - Red Fish - Big Gar - Mud Fish
(also monsters) Crappie - Bluegill - Shellcrakers & at least 4 different spices of
catfish..........
i can tell you all ate GOOD![]()
